It has been a few months since posted anthing to this Blog. So let’s get that fixed. Today’s post deals with 2 things. The first thing, is there is a local Albuquerque user group I recommend to anyone interested in WordPress. It’s through the popular MeetUp website.
The group is called The Albuquerque WordPress User Group and they meet (virtually right now) every month with a new presenter and topic each time. There have been a number of presentations that I’ve been to. I have liked each of them a lot. They talk about anything and everything related to WordPress. Here’s the link to the group:
Now the second thing on my list of two, is to talk about the most recent presenter at this WordPress Meetup, Chris Ransick Chris spoke about doing SEO on WordPress. He covered a wide spectrum of points that, given the time restraint, did a good job of hitting just about everything. It was a large task — getting the whole gamut of SEO in one single presentation, but he did well – and then he also put it all in a PDF — which is here.
Chris’s PDF is a good place to get an overview of SEO. There is also a nice document from Google, themselves, talking about SEO Basics ,and as a third resource, you can look here at the Moz Beginners Guide, which Chris mentioned in his presentation.
